My beautiful cat, Bob, is being euthanized in the morning. Four weeks ago he was fine. Then a couple of weeks ago he stopped eating and was diagnosed with kidney disease, Bob has had a rough life health wise. Since he was three he’s battled inflammatory bowel fdisease which caused mega colon. In December 2015, he had his colon surgically removed. Bob has been doing so well since then and then this happened. Six months ago at his checkup everything, including labs, were normal. The vet said he looked great. I am so heartbroken I needed to reach out. I can’t stop crying. It’s like my world is ending, i’ve Dealt with loss before. I lost my dad when I was 13 and last year I lost my mom. I’m old enough to know how to cope. But this is heartbreaking. 💔

Hi, Awful sad situation. You’ve looked after your Bob and done everything you can for him. Certainly heartbreaking. I went through a similar situation a few days ago with my cat. Be there for your kitty tomorrow that’s all you can do for now. So sorry you have to go through this. Keep writing here I think it helps.
Best wishes, strength to you in this time.
