It is now Christmas Eve, and you have been gone from us for 12 years.  You left us on Christmas day, and my heart still aches when I think of losing you.  You brought us a little brother who we know you sent.  Bosgo then is 12 years old, and fills a void you left when you went to the bridge.  He is is own little guy and so very different from you.  Just two days ago I looked at a puppy picture of yours from 1990, and I looked so very young there.  It is frightening to me that it was so long ago that we shared our lives together.  I miss you terribly and wish you could be here with us, but I know your gift to us of Bosgo would then not be possible.  I know you had to go as your body was failing you after 16 and one half years, and I couldn't let you suffer any longer.

Big boy and I finally got married yesterday, on Bosgo's birthday.  That way Mom won't ever forget the date.  You're were born on Valentine's day and Bosgo then on our anniversary.  Big boy and I are getting older too, as well as Bosgo, but we are trying to enjoy our lives the best way that we can.  Granny's dog Simmi is now with us too, and we are giving her a good home as well.

We all do fun things in the summer time, but the winter time here is harsh as you know.  We did some fun things together despite the weather over the years, didn't we.

Well Pogie, before Christmas day falls upon you, I just wanted to let you know that Mom will come up to the lake tomorrow after I get done working and will give you roses, your card, and your balloons.  Rest well my little boy on Christmas Eve, and I will see you tomorrow.  I love you with all my heart and soul!!

Love your Mom, Big Boy, Bossy, and Simms

What a loving way to honor your loved one, Pogie. We never forget, do we. Our fur kids make such a big impact in our lives and we always remember them.

Termy's mom and Lloydsmum...Thank you so much for reading my post and replying.  Sometimes at this time of year everyone is so, so busy and it's hard to have anyone who will have the time to "listen".  I wish you both peace in your hearts and know that we are all bonded by the special furkids we have had the opportunity to be a parent to.  Our "children" have brought us together as their legacies live on and the examples they set continue to flourish.

Happy holidays and peace!

Dearest Adena:
I just saw your message as I was posting the Petloss Tree.  Of course Sweet Pogo's Angel is on the tree.  As I was posting the message, tears were falling down my face.  While we learn to live with the pain of their loss, it really never goes away.  I just wanted you to know that I feel the same as you do and I will never forget you or Pogo. I feel so fortunate to have you as a friend and someone who kept me going through the horrible pain of my losses.  Hopefully some day we will get to meet in person.

Sending you Love and Hugs
Merry Christmas
Georgeann, Christopher, and Rollo
