I lost my handsome border collie on Jan.22/08! My heart was broken! He was mine for 10 beautiful years! we think he had a brain aneurism or something wrong with the electrical circuits
in the brain!
He started out having head nods for a few years then later he
would drop on all fours but not like epilepsy where a dog stiffens out after falling on their side!
I wondered if anyone else experienced these episodes with
their dog.
His last couple of episodes he was breathing heavy but made
it thru the first one and then just stopped breathing after
the second one!
He was almost 12 years old!

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so heart-breaking when we see our beloved companions starting to fail and so painful when they actually leave us.

You might want to put this thread in the grief support section..you will be noticed there and I think that's why you're not getting responses here.

My thoughts are with you.
