I lost two of my dogs in the last 6 days. My Thunder was a 14 year old Siberian Husky and died on my birthday last week while I was visiting my family. Luckily my husband was able to be with him. The vet suspects he had some sort of internal tumor that was not detected on any of his regular wellness screenings and it must have ruptured. I returned from my trip Sunday evening and when I let my girl Faolin out at lunch time and she began bleeding profusely from her abdomen. She was also 14. We got her to the vet but there was nothing they could do. Just like that, they are gone. I just can't believe it. I'm in shock. I have two other huskies that still need me, but I am overcome with grief.

Oh, I am sincerely sorry that you have to endure this pain and heart ache. I wish there was magical words to say that would heal all of our pain and make life sane again. But all I can say is I'm sorry. I am sending you love and compassion and doggie hugs.
