I have never thought in my life would I ever be so attached to a dog. Four months ago, my daughter and I adopted a baby poodle/chihuahua. My daughter named her Cookie. Cookie was The most amazing puppy ever, very loving and energetic. She was our best friend, our missing piece to our family. Unfortunately, we lost her yesterday. As I opened the door for a package delivery, Cookie squeezed out the cracks of the door and ran straight into the street. A car came and ran her over. I am in lost of words. I can’t eat, think, or function properly. I have been crying my eyes out since. I woke up this morning hoping it was all a dream. I just want our fur baby back. Please Cookie, if you can hear me, I love and miss you so so much.

I am so very, very sorry for your loss.  Cookie knows that you love her.

It is very painful right now.  We are all feeling as you are and understand what devastation you are going through.

Please try to take good care of yourself and know that we are here for you.
