1 month after my TaiChi was assisted to the bridge, I was looking on petfinder(like I always did, ) and what did I find a baby who looked just like her...I took this as a sign and knew I had to have her...The new baby Kelee was rescued from a shelter in the Carolinas and she was scheduled to be gassed the next day,"( can you believe they do that to precious puppies ) the great people from petrescue took her and fostered her until she was able to find a forever home and that's exactly what she has  now"A Forever Home
I think Tai comes to us thru the new puppy, cuz Kelee has so many of Tai Chi's mannerisms...look at the pics and see for yourself...

That is wonderful! I truly believe that it *was* a sign from TaiChi, and it was something that helped both you and the new pup. Something similar happened to me 3 years ago when I had lost my sweet Doberman, McKenzie, to bloat. I thought I could never find a dog that I would treasure as much, but a few months later I found an adorable Dobergirl on line. She was 1 year old and her dad was heading to Iraq and he had no one to take care of his dog so he was looking for a new home for her. Hershey and I hit if off immediately, and I really believe that it was a sign from McKenzie saying; ok mom, time to start living again and do some good! The very same day I got Hershey, it was as though I had McKenzie back with me. Like you describe, she also had a lot of the same mannerisms, not all of them, just enough that I feel like I now have 2 dogs in 1. McKenzie AND Hershey. Now that's hard to beat!
You are an angel for saving your pup from certain death, and I'm sure you'll have a lifetime of joy ahead of you!

Oh Lee, what a little darling.  My Basil sent me a new guy 3 weeks after too.  He has a lot of my big shepherd x in him, its as though she is living on through Ben.  He just knows gestures and words  after just hearing them once, its uncanny.  They obviously know that we needed another to love.  Di xxx

Oh, Lisa, what a sweet face little Kelee has!  I can see the similarities so clearly.  NO DOUBT Tai-Chi had a paw in choosing this new baby for you.

After our beloved German Shorthaired Pointer, Easy, passed in January of 2005, just nine months later, Gracie, a gorgeous approximately 1 year old jet-black Black Lab mix came to our home in a terrible thunderstorm.  She was flea-ridden and had a fever.  No one ever claimed her.  She became ours.   She has SO MANY of Easy's characteristics and has brought us so much joy.

God bless you for rescuing this beautiful girl!!   You have honored your beloved Tai-Chi by doing so.

Kelee is a doll! So serious. And don't you know how grateful he is to you for saving his life. I say there's some fantastic bonding coming in the future between the two of you.
Molly says Way to go Lee!!
