I am so sorry.  I have no words that could make it all better.  I do know how you are feeling, but that doesn't make it any easier.  She will be greatly missed.

My sister sent those words to me the night our Maxine passed, one week ago.  I hope they offer you as much comfort as they did us.  We do know how you feel, we know how empty, lost, and hopeless you are right now, and we grieve for you and with you.

Bless you and Lilly!

Sorry for your loss, sweatpea, to lose 2 within as many months, I can't fathom how unbearable that could be!

Such a light they must have been for all of us!  The grief can be so suffocating, I completely understand how you both feel!  What has helped me, to a degree, is looking through all the pictures I have of her, remembering the joy she brought to us.  I also started writing the story of her.  Yes, I cry a lot doing those things, but I also feel the great unconditional love she radiated through her whole life.  I am also very blessed to have a hubby who is ready and willing to talk about her and our grief whenever we feel the need.

Hugs and prayers to you both, sweatpea and buddy!

Thank you maiden and buddy for your kind words. So appreciate people who can relate and understand .its getting worse as it sinks in. Being that I live alone, a widow , is why I’m getting a new kitty. While it won’t stop the ache in my heart for my sweet furbabies I will have a new fur baby to love and care for .

Maiden what you said is so true. A light in our life is what they were! and the grief oh so suffocating!

I’m enjoying pics and video of them when younger. One clip is of a young sweet Peanut “retrieving “a necklace chain.my dh taught her well.

Buddy,I had a dog I named buddy. Found him as a puppy.he was truly my “buddy.”How I loved that dog!

Sending you both warm hugs, love and prayers.
