My poor baby boy got hit by a car yesterday. I wasn’t home, I was at work and someone let him out. He was only 3 1/2, and I wasn’t there with him and I feel so much guilt, so much heartbreak that I wasn’t there. I didn’t protect him. I was his mama, I was supposed to protect him and save him and I wasn’t there. By the time I got the call he was already gone. I just want my boy back. He was my everything, my best friend. He was the reason I know what true, unfiltered, unadulterated, unconditional love feels like. I was his person. We had such a bond that I’d only heard other people talk about, but I had it with him. And now he’s gone and all these people are telling me how strong I have to be but I don’t want to be. I don’t want to. I want to be with him.

My cat Calvin got hit by a car yesterday morning while I was at school and I'm devastated as well. This is the hardest thing I have ever been through and I know how you're feeling. All I want is just a little more time with him, but we both can't see them again. Just know that it's okay to still feel hurt no matter how much time has passed and that he wouldn't want you to be so torn up over it. I'm sure he loved you greatly. I'm very sorry for your loss.
