I let my puppy out yesterday to use the bathroom and when I called for him and didn't come I went to the front of the house and saw him there lying on the ground already gone. I can't stop crying and feeling guilty that I didn't just leave him inside the house. I'm so sad he's gone.

I am so very sorry that you lost your puppy. There are no words that I can say to take away your pain and heart ache. I wish there were. You didn't know. It wasn't your fault. Things like this happen and we never know why. Please try to let go of the guilt, if you can. Grieve and cry. Hold his love tight in your heart for he doesn't blame you. Our pets don't do this because they love unconditionally. I know how you feel, it doesn't matter how we lose them weather from old age or a tragic death, it still hurts. I am still trying to let my guilt go and honor Termy's life and his love. I still cry a lot and it's been almost four months. The tears will lessen but a part of your heart is gone and always will be. I hope you can find comfort from this web site for we all share this loss.
Love and doggie hugs

Thank you so much for your kind words they are very comforting. I cried all day yesterday and talked with my sisters and they cried with me. The house feels so lonely without my copper in the house. I know with time I will get better. We will get better. Thank you again.
