My baby was hit by a car 10 days ago, and although I have sobbed more than I ever have in my life, I now feel really weird. I’m looking at pictures of him and it feels like it’s happened to someone else, it feels as though maybe he was just a dream, that he never really lived here. These feelings are causing me a lot of anxiety as I’m certain that can’t be normal, I love my boy more than anything (on par with my husband) and he was intertwined with everything we did, being his owner was a huge part of my identity. I’m feeling very guilty for feeling “okay”, it will never been okay so why do I feel like this :(

Hello MH>
True animal feelings you are experiencing.... When an animal touches your SOUL-- it is FOREVER!. Mortality IS FINITE! It is the aftermath of the situ that is grave for all of us. We all death with the issue differently, some more, some less in terms of recovery time. The fact is your beloved was very real and all the years of companionship they give to us is, in my opinion worth the grieving process in the end. MEMORIES, to last FOREVER....
My best to You...   SherryXXPerryXX
