On Monday I woke up to my usual.. but when I uncovered the cage to find Sunshine on the cage floor I was horrified. Along with my two budgies parakeets that are in separate cages. I couldn't even work. His son is still looking for him. But today he is eating again. When im home he cries if he cant see me. 😢
He comforted me when my son passed but his daddy was given to me when he started plucking. How do I comfort him now??? Sorry i said so much.

God bless you. Just know that your precious animals are in Heaven now, and you will see them again one day. All you can do is be there for your other pet, and comfort him. Also, treat yourself nice. God bless, my friend

My Charlie died about a week and half ago too. I feel like I'll never recover or get over it. He was a small little lovebird, and I feel so, so guilty that I couldn't keep him safe. I feel like I almost have PTSD - the last moments of his life keep replaying in my head over and over. I donated to some bird rescues in his memory but I still feel inconsolable...All of my happiness, the one thing I loved most in the world, is gone.
