Hi, everyone. I just lost my sweet baby Bella on 2/4/20. I had her for 10 years (she was 5 when I got her), and she was my best friend and my soulmate. I miss her so much. I feel so guilty because she developed pyometra because she was never spayed. Pyometra requires an emergency spay, which I allowed, but when they opened her up, they found a mass on her kidney which had adhered to one of her ovaries. The vet recommended euthanasia. I just can't help but feel like this is my fault. I want her back so badly![image]

Hi Julia,

I hear you and I am with you.  My sweet baby Bella left us on wednesday 2/5/20.  I feel the same emotions as you are.  Should I have taken her to the vet sooner when she started breathing heavier, was there something that I could have done to save her, why didn't I do something sooner???
I am beating myself up with guilt....I would give anything to have a do-over.  The vets said she was stable just a few days previously.  Why did this have to happen?
My heart is broken and I too want her back so badly.  This is the price we pay for the deep love we share with them.
I am on this journey with you and all the others here.  With their support and caring may we all get through this together.

Hugs,
Baby Bella's Mom

Thanks so much for your kind words. I am so sorry for the loss of your baby Bella, too. It just too quiet without them, isn't it? I just got her ashes yesterday from the vet. That was not the way I wanted to bring her home.
