I first saw Nugget at Petsmart a few months after losing my Bailey kitty to renal failure. He was a feisty 10 month old kitten running around like a junkie on the best high of his life. I took one look and knew he was the one for me. I have always been a sucker for gray kitties and this beautiful gray boy wrapped his huge fluffy paws securely around my heart. We officially named him Nugget but I called him Mr. Fluffypants. He was a perfect fit at our house. He loved the two dogs, our two other cats, my granddaughters, all of us. And everyone loved him right back. He started losing weight about 8 weeks ago and blood work done 4 weeks ago led the vets to believe he had FIP. The vets tried everything they could but there is no cure. Nugget fought the good fight but this morning with no fight left in him he journeyed to Rainbow Bridge. He was with me only 17 months and now I feel there is a giant crater where my heart should be. I hope he knows how very much he was, is and always will be loved. I think God needed a special Angel kitty at His house and Nugget was the best kitty He could have chosen. I love you my precious Mr. Fluffypants. I miss you something fierce but I know we will be together again for all eternity. Thank you for sharing your life with me.
