I was reading the thread about the meaning of "heart dog". That describes Oscar my bichon perfectly. we have had many animals, and loved them all, but Oscar took a piece of my heart with him when he left. he will always be the special one.

When we adopted Kramer, we found out from the rescue they thought his birthday was Feb 14 so they called him Cupid! as I look back, I think Oscar had a paw in this, its just too weird. maybe it was Oscar's way of saying " I am sending you a piece of my heart the best way I can". they had over 100 bichons at that rescue, and I picked Cupid! ( now Kramer)

Coincidence, I dont think so.  You Oscar definitely had a paw in it.  Much love, Di xxx

Wow, that is special how out of all the rescues you picked "Cupid" or Cupid/Kramer picked you through Oscar, your heart dog.  It does sound as if Oscar had a paw in this.

And this is kinda strange, but every day when I log on, a random "Cat of the Day" appears on my home page, and today is a white cat named- Oscar (a kitty with heart issues).

Yes, I think Oscar is sending you a piece of his heart the best way he can.  He will always be your heart dog.

What a heartwarming story. And of course, there's no coincidence.
Have a peaceful day.
