Tomorrow is one year that we had to put Skylar to sleep. Brings back floods of memories. Trying to keep it together and do something to let her know how much she is missed and thought of every day.

Hi Joseph,
Anniversaries can be so difficult, especially all of those "firsts". My Squeeker's 2-year Bridge Day anniversary was last Sunday. It was not an easy day, but I made it through. I remember for his 1st Bridge Day anniversary I read through the journal I wrote after Squeeker died and looked through the pictures I had of him. I also spent some time tending to a Hydrangea I planted in his memory and I went for a walk with another one of my cats that seems to like being on a harness and exploring the neighborhood the way Squeeker and I used to.

I hope you're able to find a way to remember Skylar's memory and even smile and perhaps laugh a little as you remember the life the two of you shared. Do you have any pictures of Skylar that you are particularly fond of? Any stories you might want to share? If you have the time and desire to do so, it would be wonderful to see pictures and maybe hear a story or two that you'd like to share...

Hugs to you...
