I just wanted to share a couple of pictures of my Shelby.  One is of her 6th birthday party on July 3 2010 and the other is just a week before the cancer took over and we had to say goodbye.  I love you Shelby and miss you so much.

What a beautiful baby Shelby is!!  That face is so expressive....that's the face of an old soul!  I lost my sweet Lil to cancer....but here's something that this has taught me.

Cancer was not able to take away the love that I have for my baby, nor was it able to remove her from my heart.  At best, it took away her old physical body that was getting in the way of her new adventures.  Now, she is free, healthy and happy at the Bridge, and I look forward to the day that she, I and our buddy Luke will be reunited without having to worry about stupid little bumps in the road like cancer!  My babies live forever in my heart, as I know Shelby does in yours.  The bonds of love cannot be severed by something as simple as physical death!  Have faith in that fact, and you will discover, without a doubt, that Shelby is still with you, watching over you and waiting to be with you again!

God Bless and comfort you in your loss, knowing that you will be reunited with your precious baby again in the future!  Rick

Just precious!!!  I am glad you posted them.  We are always to see the faces of the fur babies we are talking about.
I am so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Lil.  Thank you for your kind words.  Shelby was the kind of fur baby that lit up my life and she and I always seemed meant to be.  She understood me when I was happy, sad, angry, whatever, she was always there and found ways to tell me she understood.  Cancer will never take that away and having a place like this to come and share her with people like you that understand and are grieving and also trying to rejoice in the fact that they are no longer in pain brings me so much peace.  Thank you so much.
