On Friday I went for a walk and along the side of the road wrapped in a blue towel was a small young kitten. I believe had been run over by a car.
Some kind soul had moved him off of the road and wrapped him in a blue towel. My heart cries for this wee one. Please join me in sending prayers that he finds peace at the Bridge. I wrote a poem in tribute to this little one.

Little Grey Kitten

Even though I never gazed into your gentle eyes
Closed forever on this earth, because of a cruel world
I take you as mine. To hold close to my heart
When it is time for me to follow

Until then I ask my Rainbow Angels to
watch over you as their own.
To show you the true meaning of love
as they have me. To be the family you may never of had

Let the loving colours of the Rainbow hold
you close until I can. Run in peace little one
chasing the winds, catching the stars.
You are loved and never alone

Awww so sad.  So kind of you to write such beautiful words for such a tiny, sweet creature who left this world way too young.  Thank you for your kindness and compassion.

Good Afternoon, J.C.,

I join you in your prayers for this precious creature, and for the wonderful words you composed for him and his memory. Tears shed as I read these cherished words, not just for the loss and the sadly brief time here, but more important, for the love, compassion, and heart behind the verse.

Dear J.C., His life here may have been tragically brief, but clearly, he was able to know that there are those who share love without question, show care and compassion for those who truly deserve, and that he will never be alone, as now, he is the company of so many of our beloveds who I am sure have welcomed him with playful paws and purrs.

Better days await him now, with love, energy, and constant friendship from so many.

All is well with love,
john

Dear Jackie , I will join you in Comfort and in prayer for the little wee one that went to the Bridge way too soon ...

it was very kind for someone at least to wrap him up in a towel.
My heart breaks into pieces when I see wildlife and other furbabies along the roadside.

Thinking of you n mum and your kitties as well, and will keep a candle lit for peace and light to keep all of you in good health.
