Morgan was a beautiful golden.  Maybe the smartest dog I ever met. She lived next door to me and my schnauzer clan.  She passed away today at almost 10 years old.  Her owners are devastated.  Please pray for Jim, Robin and their son Alex during this sad time.  They have another Golden named Riley who is just lost.  (Remember how Frodo was with Gimli?)

Morgan was smart.  I think if you handed her a book you could teach her to read, while mine just yapped.  We loved her too and their families could use all your prayers right now.

Please send your neighbors my deepest condolences on the loss of their beloved Golden, Morgan.   Having lost my own sweet precious golden girl just 10 months ago, I can fully understand the grief they are experiencing.  Goldens are so very very special, and I adore them all.   Please let them know that I am thinking of them, and assure them that their darling girl is now surrounded by many goldens at the Rainbow Bridge, and will be well taken care of there.   Hugs from Houston, MsSavion

Dear Bev,

Please extend my sincere condolences to your friends Jim, Robin, Alex and Riley - I am so sorry for their loss of their Beloved Morgan.  I also keep them all in my prayers.  I know how attached one can become to a neighbor's dog, so know this is a painful loss for you as well.

With deepest sympathy,
Katharine, Grunt's Mom Forever

Dear Bev,

Your neighbors will be in my prayers.

The passing of any loved pet is devastating I know but being a golden parent I well understand that special golden love very well and the loss of one leaves golden paw prints on the heart.

Please give your friends my love and tell them how welcome they will be if they would like to come here to pet loss.

Love and Peace,

Golden paw prints softly left upon my broken heart.

Gently placed with golden love when we had to part.

Knowing you would not be here to comfort and sustain.

You left with me the memories that always will remain.

Memories of golden times we had throughout the years.

Bring a smile when I recall through a veil of golden tears.

These golden times will comfort me when your sweet face I miss.

Each time i feel the gentle rain It will be your golden kiss.

Your loving heart of purest gold will keep me safe I know.

As you guide me  now along life's path from above the rainbow's glow.

Then one day we will meet again never more to part.

Till then I know I will remain inside your golden heart.

I am so sorry that your neighbors must endure this pain.  Please let them know that they are not alone.  If possible maybe you can print a copy of the "Golden Paw Prints" and give that to them.  I'm sure they'll love it, I know I do and as the tears fall down my face I try to continue my life without my beloved Golden (Comet).  I lost her less than 2 weeks ago and the pain is sometimes unbearable.

Your neighbors are in my prayers.

Thank you all for your prayers.  I printed some poems that helped me and printed your posts and gave them to my neighbors.  Robin couldn't read them yet, but she will, and someday may join our group.  I hope so.  Poor Riley, I watched from the window yesterday is he is lost.  I remember Frodo chasing a deer and turned around to wait for Gimli because his legs were so short.  I was the saddest thing I had seen so far.

I knew I could count on you all.
