My blue nosed pit bull, Thor, had steadily lost weight, became lethargic, and would not eat. He was diagnosed with PLN yesterday and today we made the heart-wrenching decision to put him down. We are devastated and don't know how to move on. :( We were so excited for him to experience snow and Christmas. He didn't even make it to his birthday. We were completely blindsided by this, and I feel like had we known about his kidney disease sooner we could have prepared to lose him. :[

Sorry about loosing your fur baby. It is a very difficult thing to go through. We had to put our 12 year old golden to sleep in July 2017. I still cry for him every day.

I’m so sorry for you losing Thor, just so heartbreaking.

I wish I could tell you a quick easy way to move through this, but there isn’t, it is true though that you will heal a little as time moves on.

It’s so unfair to lose them so young, but you gave him a loving home which many animals don’t even get the chance.

I lost my gorgeous cat suddenly and it’s just such a shock which makes it all so much harder.

Take it easy on yourself and give yourself time to grieve and heal.
