I have started reading a new book titled "DOGS & THE WOMEN WHO LOVE THEM". It is a book with multiple stories in it. It is very heartwarming. My favorite story in the book is titled "A FAMILIAR FRIEND TURNS ORDINARY INTO EXTRAORDINARY". It is written by an Author by the name of LoriDR. It is a story about her and her Precious Dog named Piezon. :) Just wanted to pass this along. God bless.

Thank you Mayme, I am currently reading Cold Noses at the Pearly Gates and it has helped me so much.  I'll have to add this one to my reading list.

Dear Samantha,

Cold Noses is an excellent book and so very helpful. The one I posted about actually has a story written by one of our very own Petloss Family members LoriDR. It is not a story about Loss but one of her own about her Boy Piezon. I haven't read the other stories in the Book yet. But I just wanted to get this on the board for Lori and Piezon. I must say that I am rather Proud of her lol.

I received the book for my birthday and the story about Piezon is very precious.  Our Lori is a very talented writer!!  Lori and her husband were blessed with a very sweet boy.

Mayme ~ You made me giggle, your kindness touches my heart.

All of the dogs in the book are quite inspirational, but some stories are a little on the sad side. One was about a woman with health issues who has a wonderful guide dog who can do just about anything for her and others. That dog amazed me. Another was about a dog who was very abused and became a police dog. I couldn't bear reading some of the things that happened to him and I skimmed through some of that part. I haven't read them all yet though, and I'm looking forward to the other women's stories. Mine is a really more of an inspirational story. I wrote it right after it happened, and had no clue I'd be losing my boy 18 months later. He was healthy, as you can tell, in that story. He was my muse. My boy, my wonderful, son.

I miss you Bubba.

Thank you sweet Mayme and Mare for you kind words.

Hugs,
Lori

I have read this book and LOVED that story. It is close to my heart and very uplifting. There are many wonderful stories in this book, but that is also my favorite. Thank you Lori for the story about Piezon and also for bringing this book to our attention. It is full of amazing stories. I love this book! And I am so proud of Piezon (and Lori!) for this inspirational story.
