Hi to all my Petloss friends:

I don't come here very often any more, but felt like I just had to today.  It's impossible to think that 6 years ago today we said goodbye to the love of our life - Brandy.

As we lit a candle for her today and sat outside just as we did waiting for the vet to come to our house it brought it all back again.  We looked at the picture album we made for her and reminisced about our 17 years with her.

Those first few months were just awful and I know I couldn't have made it through without all of you.  I didn't feel foolish expressing my feelings and talking about our little sweetheart because you all understood so well.  I am so grateful for all of you.

After we adopted Miriam she definitely healed our broken hearts.  I guess that was her mission and although we only had her for 4 years she has a permanent place in our hearts that only she could fill.

So now we have Bree, a 7 year old cocker spaniel who is a little spitfire and reminds us in so many ways of Brandy.  I don't know how we were blessed with such special dogs 3 times and I thank God for this.

Sending love and hugs from all of us to you -

Barb (Angel Brandy's and Angel Miriam's mom and now mom to Bree)

17 years is a good life!! I lost my boy tigger in May then found this site and like you, I’ve found people who are very understanding. It gives me hope to hear from people years later after a loss that life can go on and happiness can be found, and it’s ok to move on. I’m so glad you’ve been blessed with other amazing fur babies. Whenever I start missing my boy I just have to remind myself to go give my other dogs a huge hug. I’m glad you’re doing well and don’t need to come here as often. Take care

hello Barb
Sorry I am a little late with Brandy's 6 year Anniversary. I too don't come on here as much as I used to. I know exactly how you feel. Today is my Bella's 5th year Anniversary. I can't believe all of this time went by already. My heart still aches for her and always will. As I know yours does for Brandy. I am glad you have other fur babies.  They are such good therapy. I thank God all of the time that he sent Benji to me a year after my Bella passed. He helped me a lot with my painful grief. Life is sad in so many ways. We have fur babies and people in our lives that we love so much then a time comes when we have to lose them. It is so heart wrenching. I don't handle lose through death well. I never get over the lose.
I hope overall you are well. Blessing to you and Bree

sending Angel Hugs and Kisses to your dear sweet Brandy and Miriam.

Take care my friend

Hugs to you
Donna {Angel Bella's Mom and Benji's Mom}
