About 3-4 weeks ago I made the most regretful decision to surrender a cat that I had rescued. He was the most loyal, loving Male kitty. Although after a few months of his spraying and ruining my apartment I had to do something to stop it. I was hesitant to let him outside due to him being mostly blind from a URI. He became a outside cat that after a week or so decided he wanted back in. I feel terrible that I let him down/ gave up on him. I made calls to all the cat Sanctuaries in my area only to be turned away. Tried rehoming. Sadly nobody wanted to take in a URI cat that was partially blind. I tried believing that the HAWAIIAN HUMANE SOCIETY would not put him down. My gut says otherwise. A few weeks ago I saw a very, very similar to Ray-Ray markings, size and possibly even blind. I just looked at him and wondered huh? You look familiar? Never saw this cat around my area before. It didnt occur to me until a week or so after I saw him that "could that have been Ray-Ray visiting me? I am so guilt ridden and am having a hard time living with the fact that I gave up on him.
IS IT POSSIBLE HE WAS VISITING ME OR IS IT HIS GHOST??? PROBABLY JUST MY GUILT THOUGH.

There are things in this universe that we will never be able to fully comprehend. If you are aware and open yourself up to possibilities beyond our limited 5 senses, you can def see something like that. I wouldn't be the least surprised if your cat was visiting to say hello or let you know it's ok.

I'm sorry, what a sad situation.  You did the best you could to give Ray-Ray a good life.  What a tough decision to make.  Maybe Ray Ray is visiting you to tell you it's ok, he understands that you loved him and did the best you could.

Thank you to those who responded to remorseful surrenderer. I choose to believe Ray-Ray did visit me.
