Hello Everyone

I just wanted to leave a short note to tell you that Robbie, the big black crossbreed who was so terribly ill over christmas and new year with cancer is still well. There has as far as we know been no recurrence of the cancer and he is - while still quite an old and sometimes tired 11 year old dog - very well indeed.

He has his two walks a day, plays with the dogs in the dog park, eats (far too much grub - he's on a diet now!). Everyday is precious - he was so close to death just 7 months ago. Its hard to believe he's still the same dog.

I some of you can take some hope from Robbie's story. And I wanted to thank you all again for your prayers and good wishes.

Dear Sara-- I was wondering how you and Robbie were. I'm so happy to hear that he's still with you and having a good time.  You must be doing something right, because he sounds like he's very content to stay for quite a while. I think the interaction with all the other dogs in the park, his restrictive diet, and just your love for him has gotten him through the difficult times.  Keep up the good work and stay in touch.

Many hugs to you and Robbie--Teddy's Mom
