Its been a rough couple days but I knew it was coming for some time now.  My 15-year-old Pit Bull mix "Romeo" had to be put down yesterday because his lungs were failing, he lived 5 years past the average age of a Pit Bull so I feel good about that.

I've had him so long, it's going to be tough not having him around.

Here's to you Romeo.

We also still very much miss your son Bob Barker, who has now been gone 6 years.  You both were very different but complete goofballs.  For the first time in 15 years, there are no dogs in our house and it stinks.

I am so sorry that you had to let Romeo go. I know the pain and heart ache you must be feeling. They are both beautiful kids. I can see love and kindness radiating from their eyes. You gave them love and they loved you back ten fold. I know the feeling about having them around for so long and it's going to be hard. I had my sweet Termy for just over 16 years and I miss him so very much. What our fur kids give is so very s[ecial and comforting. It's never easy. If we could write a book, just think of all the chapters we would have based on the years and memories made in that time.
Sending you peace
Love and doggie hugs
