Am wondering if anyone has received signs from your pets? I am hoping for one so badly. Or a happy dream of my pup. I can't get the image of how I found her passed away out of my head and would really like some peace. TIA.

I lost my bunny boy 2.5 weeks ago and I've seen some signs from him.

The first was that while I was out walking, I saw a painted rock kind of half buried in the grass that said "You are my sunshine",which was something that I'd say to him all the time. I've also seen a red leaf that in the shape of an almost perfect heart just in the middle of the sidewalk. I've also been seeing a big yellow and black butterfly hanging around my backyard and front yard - it even followed me a few houses while I was walking my dogs the other day. It started hanging around a few days after he passed. I also ordered a necklace (a rabbit with his initial stamped on it). It wasn't supposed to arrive for five weeks after I ordered it, but it actually arrived at my house way early and on my birthday. I think those have all been signs from my bunny that he's okay.

Wow, that is so cool! So far I haven't seen anything I could interpret as a sign. The smoke alarm went off for no reason and a flickering light bulb but my house has had some electrical glitches before my pet passed away so there is no way to know...thanks for sharing your experience!

I lost my kitten Annie a month ago. I named her after the movie character Annie because I found her on the street and on my way home sang “Tomorrow”. When she passed, I had her cremated and she’s in my room (in an urn) surrounded by sunflowers (my favorite flower). One night, I was crying because of how much I blamed myself for her passing and I started mumble singing “Tomorrow”.. when I finally wiped my tears, I looked up at my tv and I’m not sure what movie was on, but a HUGE pile of sunflowers showed on the screen. I may be overreacting, but just thinking of my little Annie smiling down and saying “I’m okay” made me feel relieved and happy. I miss her everyday. I still struggle with it not only because it was recently, but because I have another cat with me and whenever I feel something off from him or he doesn’t meow when I come through the door, my anxiety skyrockets. It’ll take time, I’ve heard. But for now, just know that one day, youll see him/her again, just like me and my Annie. And I can’t wait to see her!

Aww, what a sweet story. 😉 I sort of wish I had my Lulu cremated, we put her in the garden. :( I put some flowers there and will plant some pretty flowers there in the spring. I also plan to get her a nice headstone to put there. I so hope we see our little pets again someday. They are so pure and full of love and energy and I know that must live on! So sorry about your little Annie and thanks for sharing your story.

Lu I am so sorry for your loss, and sorry that I am unable to find the words to comfort you, except that I feel for you, a lot.

Signs...

Each time, they seemed to happen when I was not expecting them or urging them to happen.  This was the case with both of my cats, my female and my male.  And the case with my uncle.

My uncle used to joke he'd send me a sign from the other side.  When he passed it was truly unbearable.  Then I saw this sign outside a cafe.  It said "if you're looking for a sign, this is it", and I just knew, it had to be him. It made me smile, I took a photo of it.

With my cats, no signs happened until about 2 weeks after they each passed.  I wish now I could have another sign, but perhaps no more will happen, or perhaps I won't recognise what ever happens as being a sign.

But the thing is, I know that my female cat and my male cat (and my uncle), knew they were all loved very, very much, and that's why it hurts so much for me now, because I miss them, I wish I had done this or said this or not said that, but I have things of theirs and there is one toy I haven't washed that I carry around with me, keeping a part of him with me, for he (and my female cat, and my uncle), are, in a sense, everywhere.

Keep posting xx

Ok, this is a bit weird and can't quite figure it out. I mean, if its a sign or if its just a fluke. Since Lulu passed a few weird things have happened but I didn't think much of it. The smoke alarm went off for no apparent reason. and it was super loud and irritating so I took the batteries out. I know that's dangerous so I put fresh batteries in and it seems fine now. The light bulb in my floor lamp flickered a lot one night, but they light bulbs have been in there forever, so again, thought not much of it.

Lulu's final resting place is under the cherry tree in my yard. I put some rocks around the site, put some flowers there in a pot as well as a little headstone with her name that I ordered from Amazon. It still looked a little dismal over there so  bought some little flower-shaped solar powered twinkle lights to hang in the cherry tree over the spot. I hung them yesterday and was surprised to see them come on even though they had just come out of the box and hadn't charged in the sun. They are pretty bright and have a soft yellow light that makes the area look so much better at night. I kept looking out the window at them because I was so pleased. I can see them from the kitchen and living room windows. Anyway, they have two modes like Christmas lights do. You can put them on twinkle mode or just "steady" mode. There is a button you push to change the modes which is on the solar panel that you push into the ground with a stake. I looked at them many times last night because I was so happy with them. They were on steady mode, ie: not blinking or twinkling. When I woke up this morning it was still dark and I looked out and they were blinking like crazy. They blink really fast, so I almost didn't seem them at first. What the heck? It was pretty windy, but still not sure how the wind would change the mode? Maybe it's nothing, but thought I'd add it here to see if anyone had any ideas. I am the first person to dismiss things and come up with a rational explanation, but this one had me wondering a bit...if it was you Lulu, good job and I love you forever!!!
