I'm patiently waiting for Midnight's ashes and I go to my mailbox to discover that the mail carrier said he couldn't deliver them because nobody was home.  I was home!  He didn't even knock.  I know this because my other dog, Zeus, would have alerted me to it.  Now, my poor girl had to stay overnight at the post office.  Going first thing this morning to pick her up.  I guess it could have been worse.  He could have just left it at the door and someone might have taken the ashes, and then I'd really be lost.  But man oh man, was this upsetting for me.

When Pearl died I had a "private cremation". (eyes kind of rolling). The guy who was doing it lives in my general area but was stalling on delivering them.

I came right out and indicated I would like to come over that day and pick them up. And I did.

Can you go to the post office today and get them? He goes back to the post office at the end of the day with his truck. Contact the post office or go down there today. You should be able to pick them up.
