I'm still depressed since my precious dog angel died so fast when she got hit by a car in front of me and they did a burn out on her stomach for a couple minutes. Her toes were ripped off I made it to the vet and i had no choice but to put her down. Long story short. I try not to think about it as much but when I do I cry hard. I cry before bed I cry when I open my eyes in the morning. Its a month exactly today. I held her collar last night along with her ashes and put my hand on her paw print made out of clay. Its killing me deep inside. I seem to be drinking and intoxicating myself everyday since she passed. It helps me block it out and pretend it never happend. I'm losing myself. I never knew I could get so upset and torn up over an animal until i lost my baby girl

I would suggest you use the free pet loss hotlines. There is a list of them on this page and on the internet as well. In the beginning I used to call more than one a day! For a long time too.

I am heartbroken for you. How sad what happened. Please use those hotlines.  You will get some emotional support in coping with your difficulty.

I am so sorry.

I hate to hear this. I hate hearing you are going through this. I am praying gods love over you. Angel is just that. An angel. I know you miss her and she did not deserve what happened to her. I’m so sorry. Just know she is nothing but peaceful now. She knows if nothing else but the love you provided her and her you.
With love,
Fensmom
