11 years ago today my dog Kina Marie flew off to the Bridge. She was a German Shepard mix and was 15 years old when she left. She was funny, and smart, and loving. She loved to eat her food really fast so she could run over to her brother Big Al's bowl and finish his food. She loved to play "Cover her up like a baby" which consisted of me putting a little blanket on her head while saying "cover her up like a baby" and her shaking it off. She would smile every time she did it. She patrolled the yard to make sure everything was in order and no hot air balloons came in the yard - she hated those balloons. She was amazing. I called her Kina Marina Jelly Beana for some reason and I would sing the Kina Marie song to her at night. She had canine dementia the last couple of years of her life but she still enjoyed the same silly things we did over the years. I miss her.
I will always love you, I carry you in my heart forever. Love - mama JoAnn

And you have been here helping others since then, Jo.
I know you have always missed her and been through so much since then.
God Bless you and your sweet girl, Kina Marie.

11 years - it seems like such an eternity for us, doesn't it? So much has happened since then, yet you still remember and hold your love for Kina Marie in your heart regardless of how much time has passed.
I hope you were able to smile from deep within your heart as you remembered Kina Marie on her RB Day anniversary... Hugs and smiles to you, Kina Marie and all those that have been blessed to know your love... - Kelly Angel Blackie's mom Angel Squeeker's mom

I feel you. I came here 17 years ago when I lost Dakota, my soul mate and again this year when I had to let Termy go to RB. It's wonderful to have a place like this to grieve and meet others who love as deeply as we all do. This place is great company when you need a shoulder and support. Thank you for loving Kina Marie as much as you do and remembering her and your life journey with her. Bless you Termy's mom
