I lost my baby on 9/6/18 and I still cry daily.  My mom keeps telling me I need to let it go but I don't want to. I want to feel better but I want to continue to think of him each day and look at his pictures each day.  I've never felt so horrible and distraught over a pet's death. I think it's because this passing was so unexpected and fast... plus I had such a special bond with this cat.  I feel his life was cut short at 8 years old.  He was gone in less than 48 hours after I took him to the vet.  I'm functioning, working and eating but I wake up every morning thinking of him. I keep looking at the spots where he slept. How will I ever move from this house some day with all these memories here? I truly feel his spirit is with me and I keep reminding myself of this.  Thanks for listening.

I am so sorry for your loss and understand perfectly. I lost my boy in April and like you it was unexpected and quick. I still cry most days - I can't help it. I too am distraught - I feel in time we will both heal but it's such early days yet. Just take one day at a time and cry when you want to - hopefully you will feel better soon. Thinking of you x
