Since I put her to sleep.
I took her for a walk on a Sunday just like today and by Wednesday she was gone. I do not have another dog and I do not want another dog.

Its still so empty.

Oh, Tanker. I feel your pain. It doesn't matter if it's one day, one month or a year, it still hurts very deeply. I remember your first post, it was only just a few months after I let Termy go. It lessens as time goes by but there is always times when your heart can't take the emptiness and you cry. I still do and I still talk to Termy every night as I did that first night. I know what you mean about another dog, I was lucky in a way because I adopted Termy's sister a few years before or I wouldn't have gotten another. She has been a comfort this last year. I closed my heart to her for months but I have accepted she will never be Termy but be herself. I hope someday you can share your heart with another but until then be kind to your self.
Remember your journey.

Thank you.
I do have her Kitty and he is a comfort to me, but I think about losing him even though he is only 6.
