To all my dear friends at Petloss,

Just wanted to take a moment to update you on the status of my nephew, Max's "Uncle Bill", whom I mentioned in a previous post.  So many of you offered prayers for Bill and we are deeply grateful to you.  Bill, who is only in his early 40's, had an unexpected heart attack on his way to work a few weeks ago and was hospitalized in intensive care for several days.  He has been released from the hospital (determined to see his only daughter off to her Senior Prom) and is getting stronger.  It seems that an artery leading to his kidney is damaged and caused his blood pressure to skyrocket, which in turn caused the heart attack.  This has all been complicated by a MRSA staph infection.  All of the prayers said for Bill and his family paid off, and he is now undergoing treatment that will hopefully control this condition.

I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for your support and prayers.  Bill is more my brother than my nephew, and I have been so worried about him.  Thank you for allowing me to express my concern re: a "non-fur" loved one on this site dedicated to our precious furbabies.

Thank you also to Kahlua, Bills precious Chow baby, who left for the Bridge in February.  Thank you, Lu, for watching over your Daddy.  Send him some of your strong spirit, and let him know that you are with him always.  He misses and loves you so.

Hugs to all,
Joanne~MaxsMom

Dear Joanne,

Your post brought tears of happiness.  I am so relieved Max's Uncle Bill is progressing so well in his recovery.  He sounds like he is such a special man to so many people.  I will continue to keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

I think his precious Chow, Lu, is watching over him, as well as his little nephew angel Max.

Love and hugs,

Melissa

Dear Joanne-- Wow!  The power of prayer is amazing.  I'm so happy for you & your family that "Uncle Bill" is doing much better.  I know I speak for others as well as myself when I say that those prayers will continue.

All the best and many hugs-- Teddy's Mom

Dear Friends,
I am overwhelmed at the outpouring of support and prayers for Bill and his family.  Thank you to each and every one of you for your kindness.  I have encountered so many caring souls since coming here in December.  It is so heart-warming and inspiring.  You are greatly appreciated.
Sincerely.
