Hi All,
Last weekend was really, really hard.  All the sadness and wishes to be with Doolan came back super-strong.  It was very hard to not snuff it.  I've started taking three SAM-e pills each day instead of two (except today, for some reason I was feeling good this morning and only took two, but now I wish I'd taken three).  I'm getting lots of sleep and eating well, and I just did my second Qi Gong since Doolan passed on 5/21/10.  It's been about 24 weeks.  Most days I feel all right.  I just heard one of 'his songs', and now I'm all choked up again.  I say the rosary every night because it brings me comfort.  I try to remember to write in my gratitude journal.  But for seventeen years, 'Doolan' was always the first thing I was grateful for on my daily list.  I just have to keep thinking, "Every day is another day closer".  12/21/12 can't get here fast enough for me, and they'd better not be wrong about that ;-)
I feel much better writing here, thanks everyone.
Kellie

I am so sorry for your loss of Doolan. You never really know when or what will trigger those strong emotions. It happens to me too, sometimes just out of the blue.

Our pets are such a huge part of our normal daily routine, when they leave everything just seems wrong. I try to remind myself of the same thing, "Every day is another day closer". I pray for your comfort.
