I finally had, or at least remembered, my first dream about my cat Pumpkin last night. He died almost 6 months ago, and ever since I've longed for him, and prayed that he appear in my dreams to comfort me. At last, it happened, and I couldn't be more at peace right now. I imagine I will be thinking of it all day.

During other hardships in my past, I've dreamt often about what I was going through and it helped me to make sense of things. It wasn't often I forgot what I dreamt about also, so I came to use my dreams as a tool to navigate my well-being. After Pumpkin died, I hoped this would be the case again, but was sadly left without. This left me frustrated.

I waited a long time, but I'm so glad it finally happened! I held my baby boy once more, and he smiled at me with those lovin' eyes again. I'm still sad he's gone, but at least he feels close to me once again. <3

Awe KOkristin, that story made me smile so much.  I myself hope my Zen Will visit me in my dreams.  He passed away 4 months ago.  I can't believe it has gone so fast.  Try and write your dreams down when you wake up.  I have heard will help you remember more of them.  Maybe you are have quite a few and don't know it.  That would be such a blessing.  Happy Holidays.

Thanks for the tip zen, I will try that! I'm sorry you're dealing with a recent loss as well. I hope your Zen visits you soon. I found it very comforting. So far I've remember 3 dreams like this, and each time he is a little more mobile and healthy again.
