Since my tragedy, I have learned that it is not entirely unusual for one beloved family pet to kill or seriously injure another. This is he most painful thing I’ve ever had to endure, and there is little to no advice out there to help one make the decisions that are needed. I have read some of the most awful comments to people who have endured this. (I.e. If this happened on your watch, you have no business caring for a goldfish, etc.) People can be so cruel and judgmental. I’d like to hear from others who have been through similar circumstances. I’d like to know what you did and how you made your decisions. Thank you for your time.
