Hi everyone,

I am trying to find out what happened to Lilly Canterbury. She used to post on Pet Loss frequently and is a friend of Jerry COpple. She Helped me in the past with Photos of my Gizmo. We also e mailed each other every so often. The last E mail that I recieved from Lilly was back in early July. I sent additional E Mails and looked for posts from her on Pet Loss but have not heard or seen anything from her. Does anyone know if anything happened to her ????   Let me know.

thanks

Dear Jeff,

I also last heard from Lilly in the summer.

I do hope she is okay.  Like so many of us, I know the loss of Jerry has hit her hard.

Maybe Lilly, you are still around reading some of our posts but not logging in  perhaps?  I hope you read this and let us know how you are doing.

Thank you for your concern on behalf of all of us ~

God Bless You, My Friend,

Dear Jeff--

Not only am I wondering how Lilly is, I am very concerned about my friend Mary, Meister's Mom.  We always kept in touch, meeting for lunch or dinner once in a while.  I have tried to call her and email her, but I have not gotten any response.  I even tried to PM "bugsdogs" (Helen) who was writing to her.  Again, no response.  I hope someone here has information about these two wonderful people.

I used to e-mail Lilly too and I saw her posts on the board when Jerry passed, but that was the last time.  I'll e-mail her again just to see if she responds.  Mary is wonderful too. She gave me so much support and Lilly created special photos of Cleo.  Let's all chip in and try to reach both of them.

When Lilly posted of Jerry's passing, she said she had had a hard time with coming back to petloss, that she had been having a very difficult time and Jerry had been helping her with her grief.  I had the distinct impression (right or wrong) that she felt continuing to come held her deeply in her grief and she could not get beyond it to heal.  Did anyone else get that impression?  I'd have to pull her post to get the exact wording.

She also said it was Jerry that brought her back, to tell us of his passing.  So in a sense, she felt he brought her back to petloss.  I thought she would continue to come back.  She only came a few times to update us, and then we haven't heard from her since.

I too emailed her, but never heard back.  She's a wonderful lady and I hope she is doing ok.

I pulled this off Lilly's post, these are the words that gave me the impression I described in my other response.

Forgive me for my struggles in coming to the board, something Jerry was trying to help me with. With tears of sadness and a sad smile, "Jerry, I am here at Petloss,

I have missed you all.. it wasn't anything anyone has done...I have my own issuses with my loses still. But I guess Jerry, always the wise man of wisdom, has broken the "ice" and let me come "home".

Lilly, if you sometimes stop by to read, I hope you know you touched so many lives here and you are very missed.  But I understand to continue on can make it even harder to accept the loss of our precious ones.  I hope you are doing better and will some day stop back to say hello.  Give Dallas a big hug for me.

Lilly and Mary are both such wonderful ladies and a lot of us are missing them and hoping they are both ok. I used to email Lilly but the last time I heard from her was right before Christmas last year when Oreo died. I have emailed her several times to just respond a simple "yes I'm ok" since it seemed like she just didn't want to email me anymore. I didn't get a response to any of them. I too got the impression that you did Sandie. I think that coming here and seeing how much pain and grief everyone was in kept her from healing because she does care so deeply for all of us.
I pray both Lilly and Mary are ok and that one day soon they will let us know with just a quick post.
God bless, Linda

Lilly and I would often exchange emails and I was saddened when they stopped coming.  I haven't heard from her in ages and pray that she is doing fine.  I miss my chats with her.  She is a very special lady.

I understand though, when I come and read, and when I respond or write of Murphy,  the tears are right there, the pain in the chest is right there, it's brings that last terrible  day back as clear as if it was yesterday.  It's hard enough with all the triggers we experience in daily life and going through each season.  I haven't been able to stop coming, but I've often thought I would do better if I did.

Hey Robin, Helen, Pam, Sandie, Linda, and Mare,

Thanks to all of you for your response. It is a good feeling to know that so many care. To date I never did get anything back from Lilly. I do miss her so. Sandie, maybe your are right in the way Lilly is feeling; especially with the loss of JerryC. His passing is hard on I think all of us. He was very helpful to me in finding that Inner Peace that we often talked about. I was glad when his wife Gwen E mailed me a picture of him so that i can match a face to the Angel. But, as I got help from so many  here at Pet Loss I also helped others as kind of Therapy. Thanks to so many of you that even though I still have moments from time to time I do think I got much better. I do not come on this site as much. Perhaps once a week but I am still drawn to it. Once again thanks to all.

Dear Jeff--

I still haven't heard a word from either Lilly or Mary.  I'm very concerned and will keep trying.
As for Jerry, I wish that I could see the picture that Gwen sent.  I would love to know what such a wonderful man as him looked like here on this earth.  I'm sure a lot of others would too.

                        Thank you, Jeff--
